BLT Burger Las Vegas at the Mirage – Menu, Review & Hours

Located at the south front door of the Mirage Hotel and Casino, BLT Burger is a gourmet burger restaurant in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas eateries are cashing in on a fad where they dress up the American hamburger and charge a premium for it. HOWEVER, the BLT Burger at the Mirage continues to wow my wife and me. It’s possible that I was just too hungry at the time.

It’s got a sleek look, a diverse cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for people-watching. As an alternative, you may sit at the bar and watch the chefs at work, as the restaurant has an open-grill style.

You should expect to pay more since this isn’t quick food. The website boasts that the typical bill is $22, but I’m skeptical. Before-tax and gratuity, two burgers, fries, and shakes may cost $70.

If you’re hungry, you can get away with a few of the delicious Kobe beef sliders, waffle bits, or the spring roll filled with ahi tuna. I can’t do justice to the waffle bites since it’s difficult to describe friend potatoes as appetizing. However, the pickled jalapenos on top and the spices in the fryer were what made them so good.

The “Grandma’s Treat,” a bourbon-infused milkshake, was served out as a bonus. For our appetizer-based lunch, we paid about $50, which included a big tip to our delightful (and pregnant) server.

If you’re looking for something to add to your culinary bucket list, I recommend Grandma’s Treat. A milkshake is vanilla ice cream with caramel, Maker’s Mark, and salt.

On a fun-filled Las Vegas night, I can’t think of anything better than sharing a bourbon milkshake with my boyfriend (other than the birth of my children and all that crap).

The BLT Burger’s Full Menu

To save money, you might have many appetizers instead of a whole meal. Appetizer options on the BLT Burger menu include:

  • Fried dill pickle chips
  • Dish of Chili
  • Spring Rolls with Ahi Tuna
  • Grilled Nachos
  • Crunch Waffles
  • Mini Roll of Lobster
  • Wings of chicken

Aside from the standard Caesar and veggie salads, they also provide a 5 Spice Chinese Chicken salad and a Southern Fried Chicken Cobb salad, a riff on the classic Cobb salad.

The black beans, eggs, beets, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, onions, and corn are topped with a chipotle-BBQ ranch dressing and smoked gouda cheese.

Bacon, lettuce, and tomato burger menu

BLT Burger Las Vegas serves hamburgers, of course. A 7-ounce basic hamburger, a Colorado lamb burger, and a Tex-Mex burger are among the many options available (with Chili, Jack cheese, avocado, salsa, sour cream, and jalapenos).

Veggie falafel, buffalo chicken, turkey, and the “Stripper” are just a few of the unique items on the menu (it has no bun).

American Wagyu Truffle is for you if you’re beyond the McDonald’s dollar menu. I am unfamiliar with half of its offerings. Additionally, the salmon burger has Atlantic salmon topped with red onion, watercress (something you won’t find at Wendy’s), and avocado – all paired with cayenne-based tartar sauce.

Crusty bacon smothered in sweet BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, and sharp cheddar cheese make the “Interstate 80” more to my taste.

Sides

There are six types of fries available at BLT Burger Las Vegas, all of which are served with various sauces: Skinny, curly, waffle-cut, Buffalo-style, and sweet potato. Onion rings and horseradish coleslaw round out the menu of sides.

Desserts

BLT Burger doesn’t have a vast dessert selection at the Mirage, save from shakes. A brownie bite sundae, a pie of the week, and deep-fried Oreos are among the options.

Drinks

There are twenty different draught beers at BLT Burger at the Mirage, including Coors Light and BLT lager. In addition to the usual Samuel Adams, Blue Moon, and New Belgium brews.

Beers on the menu include a “Honey Beer,” which is described as a blend of the BLT pilsner with fresh lemon and honey syrup. In contrast, the “Shandygaff,” a combination of Blue Moon and Reed’s Ginger beer, is less sweet.

There are eight house cocktails on the drink menu, one of which is named “Smoky Heat” and is very enticing. Milagro tequila, lime juice, and chipotle syrup are the ingredients.

The “Adult Floats” are a fun variation on the ice cream float. Double Barrel, for example, consists of Jack Daniels, Root Beer, and vanilla ice cream.

At the Mirage’s BLT Burger, diners may choose from six different kinds of milkshakes that have been spiked with booze. The Grandma’s Treat has previously been discussed. The “Malibu Barbie,” a concoction of Malibu rum, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and vanilla ice cream, is a must-try on my next trip.

Thirteen non-alcoholic milkshakes are available, including a “cream sickle” and “Twinkie Boy” (vanilla ice cream, caramel, and Twinkies). “Lunch Box,” a milkshake flavored with peanut butter and jelly, has a clever name.

Location and Hours of BLT Burger in Las Vegas

Sunday through Thursday: 11 am. to 2 a.m.
Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The BLT Burger can be found right beyond the sportsbook at the Mirage’s southern Strip entrance.

BLT Burger was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District on March 16, 2016, despite the wonderful rating and good experience I had there. Just ten days earlier, on March 10, health department inspectors had issued a warning and awarded BLT Burger a “C” grade.
